Sundial and Oak

Commemorating Professors Smolowitz and Oaks

Professor Larry Smolowitz retired from the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the end of the 2003-2004 academic year. Professor Ann Oaks retired one year earlier. To commemorate their service, colleagues and former students contributed funds that were used to purchase and place on campus a sundial and an oak tree.
