Transformation Description Original Picture Edited Picture
Lab 3
In this transformation I drew a top hat (consisting fo two rectanges), a pair of green earlings and a gold necklace on emily.I used addFilledRect twice, addFilledOval twice and addLine once.
In this picture I cut a picture of Emily in half. She won't mind she is my roommate. I did this by cropping the original picture.
In this excercise I made a two by two collage using pictures of me, emily, jake and the class. I did this by making a new blank picture with twice the width and heigh dimensions and then copyng the pictures into the blank picture with the according x and y cordinances. N/A
Lab 4
In this excercise I took the green and blue values out of the picture with my dogs. I did this by setting them to zero and leaving the red value alone.
In this excercise I computed the negative of a picture of my co-counselors.I set each color to it's inverse by subtracting each rgb value from 255.
In this excercise I computed the greyscale of a picture of my co-counselors.I did this by finding the average of the RGB values and setting each rbg value in the picture so be that average.
This excercise was very hard. I averaged the rgb values of two sets of pixels together to get a blended picture.
Lab 5
This excercise required me to split the pictures into fourths and remove either red, green or blue from each quarter.
here I mirrored the picture horizontally by making the pixels on the bottom have the same color value as the corresponding pixels on the top
Lab 6
Here I flipped the picture 180 degrees by finding the new coordinates of the X and Y pixel values.
In this exercise I wrote a function that can scale down the picture to any scale you type in by telling the computer to take only a certain amount of pixels.
Lab 7
In this excercise I removed the red eye from a picture. i did this by limiting the loop to range around only they eyes and removing the red of the RGB value of the pixel was too close to red
For this exercise I put a picture in grey scale and also posterized it by setting the average of the colors to a certain value depending on what the average was using Conditionals.
Project 1
Here I worked with Emily to create a collage of picture of our two stuffed animals. We did a line-edging conversion, a nergative conversion, a posterized converstion, a grey scale conversion and a mirroring effect. All these together on serveral photographs gave us a nice collage as a result. NA
Lab 8
Here I worked with Sound saying "Fun" and I tripled the amplitude so the sound sounds louder. Normal Fun Triple Amplitude Fun
Here I worked with Sound saying "Always" and I found its negative. It sounds the same because while the values of the waves have become thier oposite values, they are still the same values so the sound sounds the same. Normal Always Negative Always
Here I worked with Sound saying "Pig" and I clipped it. this makes the sound fuzzy and quite loud. Normal Pig Clipped Pig
Lab 9
For my next exercise I changed the frequency of a sound. I made it so I could change the frequency(pitch) to any parameter. Like making it sound like the chipmonks. Preamble Chipmonk Preamble
Or decreasing my parameter from the previous exercise to make it sound like a killer from the 80s movies. Great Killer saying Great
Here I made a Sound echo by having it repeat at an earlier start point each time. Preamble Echo Preamble
Project 2
In this project I took several sounds from "Grease" the movie and made several transfermations to them. We did echoing, splice, frequency, amplitude increase, blend, merging and splicing to create a collage of sounds from the movie "Grease." N/A Grease
Project 3
In this project I took a christmas lights video and took the negitive of each frame. We also then doubled the frequency of the sound itself to come up with a new creation of the movie. N/A Christmas!
