Transformations of graphs

Click this button to open an xFunctions window. The pop-up menu at the top of the screen contains several examples that show the effect of various stretching and sliding transformations on a function.

Transformed Sine Functions

Click this button to open a window that shows a sine function with parameters A, B, C, D representing horizontal and vertical stretches and slides. The values of the parameters can be controlled with sliders that appear below the graph. A is the amplitude, B is the frequency, C is the phase, and D is the vertical offset.
