The After-Effects of a Liberal Arts Education
In the microcosm of college, it's easy to lose sight of the
future, to live, instead, for the moment or the week at most, not
looking much beyond the term at hand. But the terms eventually do come
to an end, and Septembers no longer signify "back to school." What
happens to people when they leave this place? What do they do? Who
do they become?
- What can you do with a Liberal Arts Education?
Some of the jobs HWS students have held within five years of graduation.
- Some advance to graduate schools in pursuit of even greater academic challenges, Master's degrees, PH.Ds, answers to their increasingly complex questions.
- Others remove to professional schools -law or health or business. A few take time to travel and explore the world on their own terms.
- . . .and the others? The others press their suits and begin careers.
