PROFESSOR David Belding received his Ph.D. in Mathematics
from Dartmouth College in 1980, and he joined the faculty of Hobart and William
Smith Colleges in the fall of that year. He is the co-author, along with Kevin
Mitchell of the textbook Fundamentals of Analysis, which
has been used in Mathematics 331: Foundation of Analysis. Professor Belding
retired from teaching in 2017.
